PVC prices in South Asia are facing fluctuations in July 2025 due to weak construction demand, freight costs, and shifting imports from China and Iran. Read full market insight.

PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) prices across South Asian markets—including India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh—have shown mixed trends in early July 2025, as buyers navigate global supply changes, raw material costs, and seasonal construction slowdowns.
According to regional distributors, suspension-grade PVC (K67) is currently trading at:
🇮🇳 India: $880–$910/MT CFR Nhava Sheva
🇵🇰 Pakistan: $900–$920/MT CFR Karachi
🇧🇩 Bangladesh: $920–$950/MT CFR Chattogram
“There’s price pressure from Chinese suppliers, but some buyers prefer Iranian PVC for its balance between price and delivery time,” noted a trader based in Mumbai.
What’s Driving the Fluctuations?
Several factors are shaping the PVC market this month:
Monsoon season slowdown in India & Bangladesh = less construction
Increased PVC offers from Chinese producers at discounted rates
Stable but cautious demand in Pakistan’s industrial sector
Iranian exporters offering shorter lead times via Bandar Abbas
Additionally, freight costs from East Asia have slightly increased, making Gulf-origin PVC (from Iran or KSA) more competitive on certain routes.
